PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) involves a visual and electronic safety check of all electrical appliances within the building to ensure that each portable appliance is safe to use. PAT Testing is a UK legal requirement for landlords, schools, hotels and business owners to ensure that current electrical safety regulation is met. These tests should only be carried out by skilled and fully-qualified electrical engineers to ensure that all faulty appliances are correctly identified and removed.

Inspection and Testing
We conduct thorough inspection and testing, labelling each appliance with a visible “pass” or “fail” mark detailing the inspection date, the next inspection due date and the inspector’s signature. We’ll provide a full inventory, complete with each appliance type, name, location and description, an electrical test certificate and a full list of any failed appliances. If you have any Class 1 Equipment, test signals will also be performed into the cable to check they are safe and fully operational.
